Lorena James is a graduate of Davidson College with a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Social Science and Chinese Studies.
COVID has upended all our lives.
College students had to trade-in their summer plans for something less.
Not Lorena James.
Lorena, then a rising senior, started her second startup from home.
She learned to make eco-friendly Shampoo bars and other hair care products.
Lorena then created plastic-free packaging for those products.
From personal experience, she knew that, in China, hair care products for black women are very pricey.
Lorena incubated this startup, virtually, at the University of Buffalo.
She called it 4ever Curly!
No pandemic was going to lockdown her entrepreneurial spirit.
