CUSAT CAT 2019- Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) will hold CUSAT CAT 2019 Examination in the last week of April 2019 for admissions in various B.Tech courses. It is a University level Common Admission Test (CAT) that will be held in computer-based mode at various examination centers. The University offers admission to degree courses in engineering and science subjects at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral level. Candidates who have qualified the Plus Two Examination with a minimum 50% marks are eligible to apply for CUSAT CAT 2019. CUSAT CAT 2019 Exam Pattern

The CUSAT CAT 2019 exam pattern is as follows:

• The mode of the exam will be online only i.e. (CBT).
• The questions will be of multiple choice.
• The test duration will be of 3 hours.
• For each correct response, 3 marks will be awarded and for each incorrect answer, 1 mark will be deducted.

Steps to Apply Online

Online Registration- Go to the main website of CUSAT, http://www.cusat.ac.in and select the “Admission” link. Enter your name, email address and date of birth to register online.

Online Form Filling- After successful registration, login to your account and fill the asked information in the CUSAT CAT 2019 application form.

Fee Payment- In the next step, candidates have to pay the application fee as per their category. The fee details are mentioned below. Payment of Application Fee should be done online using Net banking/Debit/Credit card.

The University will release the online admit card for CUSAT CAT 2019 in the third week of April 2019 for all the applicants whose forms will be accepted. It is an important documents that candidates need to bring while appearing in the entrance test. CUSAT CAT 2019 Result

The result of CUSAT CAT 2019 Result will be announced online in the month of May 2019. Candidates will be able to check their scores and rank in the result card. Candidates should obtain a minimum of 10 marks in each subject of the entrance test i.e. Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in order to get listed in the merit list. Candidates will be called according to the merit list for the counselling. Candidates have to download their scorecard for future use.

For tie breaking mechanism, candidates with maximum the marks in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry will be considered in the same order. If the tie persists, then the total number of correct answers of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry are deemed in the given order. In the end, the date of birth in the descending order will be followed.

CUSAT CAT 2019 Counselling

The counseling schedule will be released after the declaration of CUSAT CAT result in the month of June 2019. Qualified candidates have to register online for the counseling process and fill their choices. An appropriate seat will be allotted to candidates on the basis of their CUSAT CAT rank and scores.
