GITAM GAT 2019 - Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management (GITAM) will conduct GITAM GAT 2019 in the month of April 2019 for admissions to various UG courses offered by its various campuses, located at Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Visakhapatnam. It is a University-level online entrance test. Only eligible candidates who have qualified the Intermediate or Class 12^th examination in 2018 and who are appearing in the said exams can apply for GITAM 2019. The online registration will be commenced in November 2018 and will last till the first week of April 2019. GITAM GAT 2019 Important Dates

All the important dates of GITAM GAT 2019 will be released in the month of November 2018. Below is the tentative schedule of GITAM GAT Exam.

GITAM GAT 2019 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should thoroughly read the given conditions of eligibility before applying for the GITAM Admission test 2019-

• Candidates must have qualified class 12th or any equivalent with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics.
• Candidates interested for B.Tech Biotechnology should have passed class XII or equivalent with at least 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology.
• Candidates who are appearing for qualifying exam in 2019 are also eligible for GITAM GAT 2019.
• Toppers of the class 12^th examination conducted by central and all state board are eligible for direct admissions.

GITAM GAT 2019 Application Form

Candidates can submit the application form of GITAM GAT 2019 either in online or offline mode. The GITAM GAT 2019 application forms are expected to be released in the third week of November 2018. The last date to submit the completely filled application form of GITAM GAT 2019 is likely to be fall in the fourth week of March 2019. To apply online, candidates have to visit the official website of the GITAM institute while to get the hard copy of the application form by post, candidates need to send a request to Director-Admissions. Alongside, candidates have to attach a Demand Draft of Rs 150/- drawn in favor of GITAM payable at Visakhapatnam and mention your names with the complete mailing address. Aspirants can also purchase the form from any of the below banks-

Application Fee

To complete the application process, candidates need to pay an application fee of Rs 1000 (Rs 600 for female candidates) through net banking, debit card, credit card or demand draft. GITAM GAT 2019 Slot Booking

The online slot booking process for GITAM GAT 2019 is likely to be commenced in the first week of April 2019. Candidates have to select their preference of examination date, time and centre by accessing an online booking system. All registered candidates have to book a slot as per their preference to generate the hall ticket else the exam authority will randomly assign a date and exam centre to the candidate.

GITAM GAT 2019 Exam Pattern

Candidates should be aware of the GITAM GAT exam pattern in order to get the details of question types, test duration, number of questions, marking scheme and total marks.

• GITAM GAT 2019 is an online or computer-based test.
• The exam duration will be of 02 hours during which candidates have to solve a total of 100 multiple choice questions.
• Each right answer will add 4 marks whereas 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer from the total score.
• The total marks of the exam are 400.

GITAM GAT 2019 Admit Card

GITAM will release the admit card of GITAM GAT 2019 in the first week of April 2019 online for the candidates who will submit the application form before the scheduled time. GITAM GAT 2019 admit card will have the details like candidate’s name, roll number, exam date, time and centre. Candidates will have their application number, gender and date of birth to download the GITAM admit card. Only candidates who will book the slot will be able to download the admit card.

GITAM GAT 2019 Answer Key

The exam authority will release the answer key of GITAM GAT 2019 a few days after the commencement of the examination, Candidates who will appear in the examination will be able to check the answer keys that will contain the right answers of the test. By using the GITAM GAT answer keys, candidates will be able to check their expected scores. The answer keys will be released in form of pdf file.

GITAM GAT 2019 Result

The GITAM GAT result will be announced online for the candidates in the last week of April 2019 in online mode. Candidates can check their GITAM GAT result 2019 by entering their enrolment number and date of birth. Candidates will be invited for admission on the basis of their GITAM GAT 2019 result.

GITAM GAT 2019 Cut off

The institute will release the cut off of GITAM GAT 2019 which is referred to the minimum marks that candidates should attain to qualify the entrance test. Only candidates who will obtain the cut off marks will be called for the counselling process for admission to various engineering courses. There are various factors that will be considered to deduce the cut off such as the number of candidates appeared in the test, a total number of seats available, the difficulty level of the test, previous year’s GITAM GAT cut off.

GITAM GAT 2019 Counselling

The schedule of counselling and counselling call letter will be released after the declaration of result. After downloading the call letter, candidates will need to participate in the choice filling and locking process and pay Rs. 1000/- as the counselling fee. Candidates have to report the assigned venue for document verification round and seat allotment process. Seat allotment will be made on the basis of the candidate’s preference and marks secured in the GTAM GAT 2019. After the successful seat allotment, candidates have to pay the first-semester admission fee to claim the seat.
