JEE Main Syllabus 2019 - Candidates appearing for Joint Entrance Examination should be aware of the complete JEE Main 2019 syllabus. This year, 2019, the syllabus of JEE Main 2019 will shortly be released by NTA (National Testing Agency). The JEE Main syllabus is available for the subjects that re mentioned in JEE Main exam pattern such as Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics. Meanwhile, candidates can refer the previous year’s JEE Main syllabus 2019 for Paper 1 & paper 2 that contains subject-wise important topics and chapters in detail. From 2019, NTA will conduct the JEE Main 2019 twice a year in only online mode. The JEE Main 2019 first attempt will be held from 06- 20 January 2019 and the online registration will be commenced from 01 September 2018. The second attempt for JEE Main 2019 will be held I the month of April 2019.

JEE Main Syllabus 2019 - Paper II (Aptitude Test B. Arch/ B.Planning)

Part I

  • Awareness of persons, Materials, Places, Buildings
  • Analytical Reasoning Mental Ability (Visual, Numerical and Verbal)
  • Objects, Texture related to Architecture and build—environment.
  • Visualising three-dimensional objects from two-dimensional drawings.
  • Visualising different sides of three-dimensional objects.

Part II

  • 3-D perception- Understanding and appreciation of scale and proportion of objects, colour texture, building forms and elements, harmony and contrast.
  • Drawing and Design of Geometrical or Abstract patterns and shapes
  • Transformation of forms both 2 D and 3 D union, substraction, rotation, development of surfaces and volumes, Generation of Plan, elevations and 3 D views of objects.
  • Creating two dimensional and three-dimensional compositions using given shapes and forms.
  • Sketching of scenes and activities from memory of urbanscape (public space, market, festivals, street scenes, monuments, recreational spaces, ect.), lanscape (river fronts, jungles, trees,plants, etc.) and rural life

 

JEE Main 2019 Exam Pattern

  • The paper 1 will be held in online mode only and the paper 2 will be conducted in pen and paper mode only.
  • The question paper will be created in English, Hindi & Gujarati language
  • All the question will be of multiple-choice (MCQs) or Objective type that implies every question will have four options and candidates have to mark the correct answer.
  • The duration of the test will be 3 hours.
  • The question will be asked from Class 11th & 12th syllabus of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
  • For a correct answer, +4 marks will be awarded and for each wrong answer, -1 mark will be deducted.
  • No mark will be provided for unattended questions.

JEE Main 2019 Important Books

Although there are many books for JEE preparation, NCERT Books are the best. The question paper will be prepared from the NCERT books only. However, to check the variety of questions and in-depth understanding of topics, students can also refer to the below-mentioned books-

Important Instructions for Exam Day

  • Candidates are prohibited to use of electronic devices like calculator, mobile phone etc. during the examination. Also, no external materials such as log table, notebook, book, etc. will be allowed in the exam hall.
  • Candidates should bring the JEE Main 2019 Admit Card along with a valid ID proof. It is suggested to check all the imprinted details carefully such as Name, Date of Birth, Paper, State Code of Eligibility, Gender, and Category. In case of any error, immediately contact to JEE (Main) Secretariat/NTA to get it corrected.
  • Candidates should reach the exam venue at least 2½ hours before the exam in order to complete the verification and registration formalities before the scheduled time.
  • Candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam centre after the commencement of test, under any circumstances.
  • Read all the instructions carefully before starting the test.

  • After knowing every detail of exam pattern and the syllabus, candidates have to create a study plan. Make sure you cover all the topics and chapter without skipping. Also, follow the study plan with dedication and focused approach.
  • Aspirants should revise the syllabus on a regular interval to retain the maximum facts and formulas till the examination date.
  • Another important aspect is time management. Candidates have to solve maximum number of mock tests to learn time management during the examination. It also help aspirants to get the information on difficulty level of the questions.
