KEAM 2019- Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala will conduct the KEAM Examination for admission to various UG courses including Engineering, MBBS, BDS, Architecture, B.Pharm, Ayurveda, Homoeopathy, Siddha, Unani, Veterinary, Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries. Kerala Engineering, Agriculture and Medical, commonly referred as KEAM, is state level entrance examination for admission in various institutes of Kerala State. Admission to the mentioned courses will be provided on the basis of KEAM scores.

KEAM 2019, a pen and paper based exam, to be conducted in the last week of April 2019. Candidates who will complete 17 years of age till 31 December 2019 and passed the Intermediate examination with an aggregate of 50% in PCM can apply for the examination. KEAM 2019 application forms will be available online in the first week of February 2019 on its official website, https://www.cee.kerala.gov.in. KEAM 2019 Eligibility

 

Only eligible candidates will be able to appear in the examinations. Hence, it is mandatory to check all the eligibility conditions before filling the online application form. Any candidate who fails to meet the mentioned eligibility norms will not be able to send their applications.

Nationality- Only Indian candidates and PIO/ OCI holders are eligible to apply for KEAM 2019

Age limit- Candidates should have completed a minimum age of 17 years. There is no maximum age limit to apply for the test.

  • Qualified Higher Secondary Exam, Kerala, or equivalent Examinations with 50% marks in Mathematics separately, and 50 % marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together are eligible for admission.
  • However, candidates having 45% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry are eligible for admission under Management Quota in Private Self Financing Engineering Colleges/Government Controlled Self Financing Engineering Colleges.

Architecture course

  • Qualified 10+2 or equivalent exam with a minimum 50% aggregate from a recognised Board. Candidates should have studied Mathematics as a subject.
  • Qualified 10+3 Diploma (any stream) with 50% aggregate marks recognised by Central/State Governments with Mathematics.
  • International Baccalaureate Diploma, after 10 years of schooling, with a minimum 50% marks aggregate and Mathematics as compulsory subject.

B.Pharm Course

Qualified Higher Secondary Exam, Kerala or equivalent exams with 50% marks in Biology/Mathematics separately and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Mathematics put together.

BVSc. & AH Course

  • Qualified 10+2 or equivalent exam with a minimum 50% aggregate in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology from a recognised Board.
  • Qualified B.Sc Degree (10+3) with 50% aggregate marks recognised by Central/State Governments with Mathematics. Candidates must have studies Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany or Biotechnology as Main subjects.

MBBS, BDS, BSMS

  • Qualified the Higher Secondary exam from a recognise board with 50% marks in Biology/Biotechnology separately, and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology put together
  • Satisfy all the NEET-UG eligibility and have valid NEET-UG 2019 scores

Qualified the Higher Secondary exam from a recognise board with 50% marks in Biology separately, and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology put together.

KEAM 2019 Application Form

 

After checking the eligibility, one must read the instructions and process to apply online for the test. The application process include the online registration, form filling, application fee submission and uploading of scanned images. Ensure that no mandatory field is left unfilled. The application forms will be released online on https://www.cee.kerala.gov.in in the last week of February 2019. How to Apply Online

Step-1- Register Online- To generate the application number, candidates have to do one time registration process. Candidates have to mention their name, date of birth, email ID, mobile number and password on the registration portal.

Step-2- Upload Required Documents- After registering online, an application number will be generated. Candidates have to login to their portal with the application number and password to upload the required documents in jpg (jpge) format. Step-3- Fill Application form Details- Now, candidates have to fill the blank spaces of TS EAMCET 2019 application form with correct and valid details such as Choice of courses, Gender, Aadhar UID, Parent’s Name, Income details, Academic details and more.

Step-4- Pay Application Fee & Send the Print Copy to the CEE office- In the last step, candidates need to pay the requisite application fee according to their category and courses. On paying the fee, a confirmation page will appear on your screen. Candidates should download the page and send it along with the required documents to the address mentioned below-

KEAM 2019 Application Fee

 

  • Candidates have to pay the application fee through online mode credit card/debit card/Internet Banking or can opt for E-challan mode.
  • In E-challan mode, mentioned application fee should be submitted in cash at any Head /Sub Post Offices in Kerala, in cash. Candidates can take the print out of the e-challan from the website.
  • Candidates should keep a copy of E-challan or payment receipt for future purposes.
  • An additional fee of Rs. 12,000/- need to be paid by the candidates choosing 'Dubai' as Examination Centre.

KEAM 2019 Preparation Tips

 

The process to prepare for any entrance exam is simple, only one’s dedication makes the difference. A few steps to simplify the preparation process has been listed below for the convenience of the candidates. Read the preparation tips and

  • Check out the complete pattern and syllabus before starting the preparation and make a strategic study plan. Make sure you give emphasis on each and every section. Adhere to the study plan and complete the entire syllabus almost one month prior to the examination.
  • Create short notes and flashcards while preparing the topics, to make the revision session easy. Keep these notes handy and revise the syllabus on a regular interval.
  • Solve previous year’s question paper and sample papers of KEAM examination to strengthen the preparation. It helps you to evaluate your performance and you will come to know the areas where you need more work. Clear your doubts after solving each sample paper and try to enhance your calculation speed.

 

KEAM 2019 Admit Card

 

The admit card of KEAM 2019 will be released online in the last week of March 2019. Candidates have to download the hall ticket from the official website by entering their application number and the date of birth. No hard copy of the admit card will be sent to the postal address of the candidates hence, it is recommended to download the same from the official website before the examination date. In case of any discrepancy or error in printed details, candidates should contact the official for corrections by sending supporting documents to the Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, 5th Floor, Housing Board Buildings, Santhinagar, Thiruvananthapuram. KEAM Answer Keys 2019

 

The exam conducting authority will release the answer keys of KEAM one day after the commencement of the examination, in the last week of April 2019. Candidates can download the answer keys of all the paper and sets from the official website of the CEE. Candidates can evaluate their performance with the help of the answer keys. In case of discrepancy, candidates can challenge the answer keys by sending the complaint with a valid proof and a Demand Draft (DD) of Rs. 100 per question, drawn in favour of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, payable at Thiruvananthapuram.

 

KEAM 2019 Result

 

The result of KEAM 2019 will be released online on the official website of CEE in the third week of May 2019. Candidates can access the scores and rank attained in the KEAM 2019 through the result. Candidates will need application number and date of birth to check the result. Candidates will be called for the counselling process based on the rank obtained in the entrance examination.
