Manipal Entrance Test 2019- Manipal University conducts Online Entrance Test, every year, to offer admission into various undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in the field of Engineering, Pharmacy, Applied Sciences, and others in three campuses of Manipal University - Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal, Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology, and Manipal University Jaipur. It is a University level entrance examination. MU OET 2019 will be conducted in the Computer-based mode in the month of April 2019 and the online registration for same will be commenced on its official website, https://manipal.edu from the last week of November 2018 for the academic year 2019-20.

Candidates who have qualified the 10+2 with minimum 50% marks can apply for Manipal Entrance Test 2019. The application form will be available online on manipal.edu. The entrance examination will be held in only online mode i.e. computer-based mode. Aspirants have to solve 200 MCQs in the time duration of 150 minutes and should attain a minimum 50% marks in the test to get shortlisted for Manipal admission. Manipal Entrance Test 2019 Important Dates

Here, candidates can check the tentative schedule of the Manipal Entrance Test 2019 as the official dates are not released. All important dates will be released in the month of October 2018.

Manipal Entrance Test 2019 Eligibility Criteria

Before applying for MET 2019, candidates are suggested to check the complete eligibility because the exam conducting authority will reject the application of ineligible candidates. There is no minimum and maximum age limit for MET 2019 except Bachelor of Pharmacy, and PharmD courses. Admission to various courses will only be provided through MET 2019 scores.

MU OET 2019 Application Form

Manipal University will release the online application form for Manipal Entrance Test 2019 in the third week of October 2018. Candidates who satisfy all the eligibility terms will be able to send their registration form from the official website of Manipal University. Candidates have to send the completely filled application form till April 2019. Only application form with required documents and application fee will be accepted by the University. MU OET 2019 Exam Centres

Manipal Entrance Test 2019 Exam Pattern

Aspirants should be aware of the complete examination pattern of the entrance test to prepare a study plan. A well-planned study schedule can lead to the success. For the convenience of the candidates, the MET Exam pattern has been mentioned here-

• The exam duration is 150 minutes i.e. 02 hours 30 minutes.
• The question paper will be formed in English language and will comprise of 200 MCQs (multiple choice questions)
• Manipal Entrance Test will be conducted in CBT (Computer Based Test) mode only.
• For B.Tech courses, 01 mark will be awarded for the right answer. There will be no negative marking.
• For M. Tech & M. Sc. courses, 4 marks will be awarded for the right answer and one mark is deducted for the incorrect answer.

Manipal Entrance Test 2019 Slot Booking

The slot booking process for MET 2019 will be commenced in the last week of March 2019. The process includes two phases, Phase 1 (for 1^st and 2^nd attempt) and Phase 2 (for 3^rd attempt). After 24 hours of successful slot booking, the candidate can download the admit card of MET. In Slot booking process, a provision to select the test date, time and venue will be provided. To book a seat, candidates will need their application number and the password. Slots will be offered on first-come, first served basis. Hence, it is suggested to book slot as early as possible, if you want a test date and time of your preference.

Manipal Entrance Test 2019 Admit Card

Applicants will be able to download their MET admit card from the official website of Manipal University, manipal.edu, after 24 hours of slot booking. The slot booking process will be commenced in the month of March 2019. Candidates can select the MET date and time according to their preference during the slot booking process. No hard copy of the admit card will be sent to the applicants hence, candidates are suggested to book the slot as soon as possible get the desired slot and to download the admit card. The admit card will contain the MET roll number, exam venue, date and time. Candidates should bring their admit card in order to appear in the entrance examination.

Steps to Check MET Result

• Visit the main website of MET, manipal.edu and click the “MET Hall Ticket”
• Provide the necessary details application number and password.
• The admit card will appear on your screen.

Candidates have to download the admit card and check the details. In case of any misprint or error, candidates should immediately contact the officials for correction.

Manipal Entrance Test 2019 Result

The MET result will be released in the last week of May 2019, on the official website. To check the result, candidates should keep their application number and password handy. The result will provide the details of MET scores and rank of the candidate. The University will call the candidates for counselling process on the basis of their rank and marks.

• Go to the official website of MET, manipal.edu and click the “MET Result”
• Enter the required details such as application number and password.
• The result details will appear on your screen. Candidates should download the result and save it till the completing of the admission process.

MU OET 2019 Cut Off

Here the last year’s closing rank of different participating institutes and courses is mentioned. Admission to a particular course and college will be offered on the basis of MET cut off. The closing rank is subjected to change on the basis of the difficulty level of MET, the number of candidates appeared in the test and more.

MU OET 2019 Counselling

The counselling process to offer admission in various colleges affiliated by Manipal University will be commenced in the month of June 2019. Candidates will be called to attend the counselling process according to the merit list, created on the basis of scores and rank obtained by the candidates in MET 2019. The complete schedule of counselling process will be uploaded on the official website of Manipal University, after the MET result declaration. Manipal Scholarship

Candidates who attain rank under 100 can avail the free-ship while the candidates who attain rank between 101- 1000 rank can avail the merit-cum-means scholarship on the basis of their family annual income. Details of both are listed below-

Candidates admitted to BTECH & B.Pharm courses from rank 101 to 1000 are eligible for merit-cum-means scholarship, amount of which shall be determined based on the parents’ annual income (from all sources). Refer the given table for more clarification-

Candidate are required to pay a minimum of Rs.10, 000/- or Course Fee after deducting scholarship amount whichever is higher along with the refundable Caution Deposit of Rs. 10,000/-.

• Candidates are required to pay the full first-year course fee at the time of Reporting.
• Candidates should also produce Notary attested photocopy of the Income Tax (IT) return form for Assessment Year 2019- 20 as an Income proof before 31 August 2019.
• The excess amount paid shall be refunded, after the finalization of the eligible candidate list.
