The Government of India, in 1982, established the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT) with an aim to develop and nurture the hospitality management education in India. The NCHMCT is an autonomous body that conducts the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) at an all-India level in order to assess the aptitude of the students seeking admission to courses in the hospitality sector. Aspirants need to complete 10+2 with English as a mandatory subject to be eligible for the NCHM JEE exam. The exam is likely to be organised in the last week of April 2019.
Students who are willing to apply for NCHM JEE 2019 can do so from the last week of December 2018. NCHMCT will release the NCHM JEE 2019 Application Forms in the fourth week of December 2018. NCHM JEE 2019 will be a paper-based examination, which will be organised at offline mode. The total duration of the exam is of three hours. There will be objective type questions, which can be answered either in English or Hindi. Students will be awarded one mark for each correct answer while for each wrong answer, ¼ marks will be deducted.
