Episode #118:

Jemmy Chayadi on UW Madison: Mechanical Engineering Major, Becoming a Global Citizen, and Saturday Football Games.

Jemmy Chayadi is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Madison with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Jemmy Chayadi came to study in the US from Indonesia.

He fell in love with American Football. To be precise, UW Madison’s Badgers Football

He loved home games. He remembers one specific home game at Camp Randall Stadium.

Jemmy was sitting in the middle row, when running back Ron Dayne broke the NCAA Division I rushing record, right in front of him!

Jemmy remembers the atmosphere being electric. The entire stadium erupted in cheers.

For that moment, it was like all the students were united.

Freshmen, Upperclassmen, International Students, Domestic Students, all glowing with Badgers’ Pride.

Even now, when Jemmy visits Madison, WI, he always tries to watch football games at Camp Randall Stadium.

He calls the feeling a small taste of heaven on earth!

In the Podcast with Jemmy, we discussed this and other experiences at the University of Wisconsin Madison:

  • Choosing University of Wisconsin Madison
  • Moving from Indonesia to the US
  • Studying Engineering
  • Campus Life
  • Advice to Today’s High Schoolers
