UPESEAT Eligibility Criteria 2019 – UPES has started the online registration for UPESEAT 2019. Aspirants who want to take admission in the undergraduate engineering courses offered by UPES should check the complete eligibility criteria of UEPSEAT 2019 before filling the application form. The forms of ineligible candidates will not be accepted in any case. Hence, carefully read the UPESEAT 2019 eligibility criteria. The University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) will conduct the online entrance test, UPESEAT 2019, in the month of May 2019 for admission to the undergraduate engineering courses. A total of 80% seats are reserved for the admission through UPESEAT examination, while 20% of the seats will be filled through JEE Main 2019 or Board merit. UPESEAT Eligibility Criteria 2019

Age Limit- Candidates should be born on or after 01 October 1996 in order to apply for UPESEAT 2019. Candidates have to show the proof of their age such as Class 10th Passing Certificate of date of Birth Certificate at the time of counselling.

Admission Through UPESEAT 2019-

80% of Total Seats will be filled through UPESEAT 2019- Candidate must have passed Class 10th and 12th with a minimum of 60% marks. Alongside, they have secured a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in PCM in Class 12th.

Admission Through JEE Main 2019 & Board Merit-

20% of Total Seats are reserved for JEE Main Qualifiers and Board Toppers.

Board Merit- Candidate should have passed the Class 10th and 12th (or equivalent examination) with at least 80% aggregate marks. Alongside, they must have secured an aggregate of 80% marks in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry in Class 12th.

JEE Main 2019 Qualifiers- C Candidate must have passed Class 10th and 12th with a minimum of 60% marks. Alongside, they have secured a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in PCM in Class 12th. Candidates should also have passed the JEE Main 2019 with minimum cut off marks.

Highlights of UPESEAT Eligibility Criteria 2019

  • Candidates can admission in UPES through three modes- UPSEAT, JEE Main or Board Merit.
  • The eligibility criteria of UPESEAT 2019 are different for all modes.
  • Candidates who meet all eligibility criteria will be able to get admission.
  • UPESEAT 2019 is not mandatory for JEE Main 2019 Qualifiers.

UPESEAT 2019 Scholarships

Candidates can avail the UPESEAT scholarship through two channels - All India Category Scholarships and Uttarakhand Domicile Special Scholarships.

All India Category Scholarships- Candidates who have passed Class 10th and 12th Examination with at least 80% marks and secured a minimum of 85% aggregate marks in PCM can avail 50% fee waiver. A total of 10% seats in each program of first year are reserved for this scholarship. It will be renewed if candidates will secure SGPA of 8 out of 10.

Uttarakhand Domicile Special Scholarships- Uttarakhand domicile holders who have qualified Class 10th, 12th and PCM with a minimum of 80% marks are eligible for this scholarship. Only 150 toppers of Uttarakhand will be deemed for the scholarships. Merit order allotment would be 1 seat per program. 15% reservation of the seats under this program will be reserved for the Uttarakhand Domicile students. Candidates must present "Sthai Niwas Praman Patra" (Permanent Residence Certificate) to avail the scholarship under this scheme.

UPESEAT 2019 Application Form

UPES has released the application form on 14 September 2018 in both online and offline mode. The last date to submit the UPSEAT application form has not been revealed yet. However, according to the previous year’s details, candidates can submit the forms till the last week of March 2019. Interested candidates are suggested to carefully read the complete UPESEAT 2019 eligibility before filling the application form. Candidates need to fill the application form with authentic information and pay the application fee to complete the application process.
