UPESEAT 2019 - University of Petroleum & Energy (UPES) has issued the application form of UPESEAT 2019 on September 14. Candidates can submit the forms either in online or offline mode. The information brochure of UPESEAT 2019 is likely to be issued shortly. UPESEAT 2019 is an online test which will be conducted in May 2019 to offer admission in UG engineering courses. University of Petroleum & Energy Engineering Aptitude Test, also referred as UPESEAT, is a University-level test. Prior to applying for the test, candidates should check the eligibility criteria. Candidates must have qualified Class 12^th or equivalent examination with a minimum 60% of marks to apply for UPESEAT 2019. UPESEAT 2019 Eligibility Criteria

To get admission without any hassles, candidates should be aware of all the eligibility norms. Besides, the application forms of only eligible candidates will be accepted. Hence, to help students, here we have mentioned all the important terms of UPESEAT eligibility criteria 2019-

Age Limit- The date of birth of a candidate should fall on or after 01 October 1996 to apply for admission. The same date of birth should be mentioned on Secondary Education Board/ Class 10^th Passing Certificate.

Educational Qualification- Candidates must have attained at least 60% of aggregate marks in class 10 and 12 board examination and a minimum 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics. Candidates who will appear in the qualifying examination in 2019 are also eligible.

Based on Board Merit- Meritorious candidates can directly get admission in the UPES Institute.

Candidates must have passed Class 10^th and Class 12^th with a minimum of 80% marks. Also, they have secured at least 80% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics in Class 12^th.

Based on JEE Main 2019 Merit- Another criterion to get admission in UPES Institute is through JEE Main Examination, candidates should qualify the JEE Main 2019 and should have attained a minimum of 60% marks in Class 10^th and 12^th. Also, the aggregate marks in PCM should be minimum 60% at Senior Secondary level (in class 12).

UPESEAT 2019 Scholarships- UPES will offer the scholarships through two modes that are All India Category Scholarships and Uttarakhand Domicile Special Scholarships.

• All India Category Scholarships- Candidates who have obtained a minimum 80% marks in Class 10th and 12th and minimum 85% aggregate marks in PCM will be eligible for 50% fee waiver which will be provided on 10% seats in each course in the first year. If candidates secure SGPA of 8 out of 10 then the scholarship will be renewed for the following year.
• Uttarakhand Domicile Special Scholarships- Top 150 Students of Uttarakhand Board examination will be considered for this scholarships. Alongside, candidates must have secured 80% marks in Class 10th, 12th and PCM. Merit order allotment would be 1 seat per program. 15% seat reservation is available under this program for the Uttarakhand Domicile students. Candidates must show their Permanent Residence Certificate or "Sthai Niwas Praman Patra" to avail this scholarship. Also, the candidates can avail the scholarship either through Uttarakhand Board Merit or Uttarakhand Domicile Category. 

UPESEAT 2019 Application Form

The institute has started the online registration for UPESEAT 2019 from 14 September 2018. Candidates can submit the application form in both online and offline mode. The exam authority has not revealed the last date to submit the application form. From the past year details, the last date may fall in the first week of May 2019. To complete the form, candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs 1850/-. Read the below steps to apply online for the application form- 

How to Fill Online UPESEAT 2019 Application Form 

Step 1- Online Registration- The first step to submit the application form in online mode is registration. Aspirants need to provide details in the provided space such as name, date of birth, gender, mobile number, nationality, email-id, city, state, courses applying for, Class 10^th and 12^th details, application pathway, inquiry source, etc.

Step 2- Input One Time Password (OTP)- After submitting the details, candidates will receive an OTP on their registered mobile number. Enter the received OTP to receive the username and password on the registered email ID.      

Step 3- Log-in & Fill the form- Candidates have to log in to their account by using the credential and thoroughly check the entered details. Upload the required document and fill the remaining details in the UPESEAT 2019 application form.

Step 4- Pay the application fee- After filling the details, candidates have to pay the UPESEAT application fee through debit/credit card, Net Banking, DD or cash.

Step 5- Download Confirmation Page- Submit the application form and fee correctly. The confirmation page will appear on your screen. Candidates are advised to download the confirmation page and save it for future use.

How to Fill Offline Application Form of UPESEAT 2019

Candidates can also apply in offline mode wherein candidates can avail the hard copy of UPESEAT 2019 application form from admission counters located in various cities including Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Delhi, Cochin, Coimbatore, Dehradun, Mumbai, Vishakhapatnam, Kolkata, Dhanbad, and Patna by paying Rs 1850/-. Candidates have to fill the form correctly, paste a recent photograph and send it to UPES Enrolment Offices at Dehradun/Delhi.

UPESEAT 2019 Exam Pattern

• The exam will be held in an online or computer-based mode.
• The question paper will comprise 200 multiple-choice questions based on Physics, English, Current Affairs, Chemistry & Mathematics.
• The will be no negative marking and for each correct answer, +1 marks will be added to your scores.
• The test duration will be of 03 hours.

UPESEAT Syllabus 2019

UPESEAT Sample Papers 2019

The sample papers of UPESEAT will be available in online and offline mode both. Candidates should solve the UPESEAT 2019 sample papers to know the difficulty level of the test, type of questions asked, important sections and more. Candidates can check their preparation level and learn time management with the help of these sample papers.

UPESEAT Admit Card 2019

UPES will not release any admit card of UPESEAT 2019 online or offline. Candidates can give the examination from the comfort of their home as they will receive the link of examination on their registered email ID a day before the scheduled day. Candidates have to access the link to take the test. Hence, there is no requirement of examination centres. Candidates should have a working webcam and well-established internet connection.

UPESEAT 2019 Result

UPES will release the result of UPESEAT 2019 tentatively in the third week of May 2019. The result will disclose the overall rank, marks secured by the candidates, category wise ranks and more. Candidates will have their login credentials in order to download the result. A merit list will be released after the declaration of result and candidates will be called for the counselling process according to the same.

UPESEAT 2019 Cut Off

The exam conducting authority will release the cut off marks or the minimum marks required to get admission after the declaration of result. There are several factors which are considered to determine the final cut off marks that are number of candidates appeared in the test, total number of seats available, difficulty level of the test, past cut off trends and more. 

UPESEAT 2019 Counselling

The centralized counselling process of UPESEAT 2019 will be conducted on the basis of UPESEAT 2019 scores, JEE Main 2019 score, and merit of class XII board. The counselling will be commenced in the last week of May 2019. Candidates should be called on the basis of their ranks and scores to attend the counselling wherein they have to show the documents satisfying the eligibility.
