The Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University Uttar Pradesh conducts the Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE) in order to evaluate students seeking admission to undergraduate courses in engineering courses offered by the colleges affiliated to the University. Every year, thousands of students opt for engineering colleges in Uttar Pradesh and the Dr APJ Technical University alone has over 400 engineering colleges. Considering this the colleges of colleges, you can imagine how many students would seek admission to engineering courses in the University. These students take the UPSEE exam for securing a seat in engineering courses in Uttar Pradesh.
Apart from that, there are other courses for which the University conducts UPSEE exam. These courses are /B.Des./ B.Arch. / B. Pharm. / BHMCT / BFAD and BFA at the undergraduate level and Integrated MBA and MCA at the postgraduate level. So, let’s find out the course wise eligibility criteria for UPSEE 2019 here!
You need to complete 10+2 with Science stream from a recognised board. You must have studied Physics and Mathematics as the core subjects while other subjects may include Chemistry/ Bio-Technology/ Biology or any Technical Vocational subjects. You must have secured a minimum of 45% marks (40% marks for reserved category students) in aggregate.
You should have done 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics or Biology as the main subjects. Other subjects may include Chemistry/ Bio-Technology or any Technical Vocational subjects. Just like the other engineering courses, you should have secured at least 45% marks in aggregate for B.Tech in Biotechnology course. For candidates belonging to SC/ ST categories, the percentage criterion is 40%.
You should have done 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as the main subjects. Along with these subjects, you should have studied either Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Biology/ Engineering Drawing or any Technical Vocational subjects as well.
The minimum percentage criterion for B.Arch through UPSEE 2019 is 50% marks. And, you must pass each subject without grace.
For those students who have done three-year Diploma in Architecture after 10th and are applying for B.Arch programme through UPSEE 2019, the minimum percentage criterion is 50% only. In addition, such students cannot take lateral entry admission to the second year of B.Arch degree course. Instead, they will be getting admission to the first year of B.Arch degree only.
You should have completed 10+2 with Physics and Chemistry as main subjects from a recognised board. Along with Physics and Chemistry, you must have studied either Mathematics/ Bio-Technology/ Biology/ or any Technical Vocational Subjects.
You must have secured a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate. The percentage criterion for students belonging to reserved categories is 40%.
You must have studied agriculture-related subjects in your 10+2 from a recognised board. The minimum percentage required to apply for B.Tech in Agriculture Engineering course through UPSEE 2019 is 45% marks. Students who belong to the reserved categories will get a relaxation of 5% marks.
Candidates from all the streams are eligible for UPSEE 2019 exam after completing their 10+2 from a recognised board. The minimum percentage criterion for all these courses will be 45% marks in aggregate. SC/ ST students will get a relaxation for 5% marks in the minimum percentage criterion, thus, the marks required for them is 40%.
You need to complete 12th with Physics and Chemistry as main subjects from a recognised board. Other subjects that you should have studied may include Chemistry/ Bio-Technology/ Biology or any Technical Vocational subjects. You must have secured a minimum of 45% marks (40% marks for reserved category students) in aggregate.
You should have completed 12th in any stream from a recognised board. There is no restriction for having any specific subject(s) in order to apply for Integrated MBA program via UPSEE 2019. You must have secured a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate (40% marks for students belonging to SC/ ST categories).
You need to complete Bachelor’s degree in any discipline in order to apply for MBA through UPSEE exam 2019. You must have secured a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate in your undergraduate degree. Students belonging to SC/ ST categories should secure 40% marks.
You must have completed an undergraduate degree in any discipline from a recognised university. However, you must have studied Mathematics as one of the subjects at 10+2 or graduate level. The minimum percentage criterion for general category student is 45% marks in aggregate. While this criterion for students who belong to reserved categories i.e. SC/ ST is 40% marks in aggregate.
