VITEEE Eligibility Criteria 2019 – Vellore Institute of Technology will set some rules to select the eligible candidates for VITEEE 2019 and will release the same with the official notification. The details of VITEEE 2019 eligibility criteria will be available in the month of November 2018. The eligibility of VITEEE 2019 consists of the details related to nationality, minimum age limit, qualifying exam, minimum marks, and other details. Before applying for VITEEE 2019, candidates are advised to check the complete VITEEE 2019 eligibility, else their application form will be rejected without any prior information. Both non-resident and residents of India are eligible to apply for the entrance test. Also, the date of birth of the candidates should fall on or after 1st July 1997. To apply for B.Tech in Bio-Technology, Bio-Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, B.Tech. Computer Science and Engineering with specialization in Bioinformatics should have studied Biology as a main subject and Mathematics as an optional.

Nationality- Indian nationals and non-resident of India both are eligible to apply for VITEEE 2019. Separate application forms will be issued for the foreign applicants.

Age limit- The date of birth of aspirants should fall on or after 1st July 1997. Candidates have to submit the class X/ SSC/ High School certificate as the proof of age at the time of counselling process. Hence, date of birth filled in the application form should be same as mentioned in the certificate.

Minimum Educational Qualification

• Aspirants should have passed 10+2 or Higher Secondary Examination through CBSE, ICSE or any other State Board with at least 60% (50% for SC/ST/ North-East Candidates) in Maths/ Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
• Candidates who have qualified any Pre-University Examination or Intermediate through recognized Board or University are also eligible.
• Candidates possessing a High School Certification from Cambridge University or International Baccalaureate Diploma from the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva are eligible to apply.
• Candidates having any Advanced 'A' level General Certificate Education (GCE) from Cambridge/London/ Srilanka are eligible for VITEEE 2019.
• Candidates studied from National Institute of Open Learning (NIOS) can apply.
• All the students who have studied full time, regular and formal education can apply

VITEEE Eligibility Criteria 2019 for NRI's and Foreign Students

• Aspirants must have completed their 10+2 or Intermediate from an English Medium School with Physics, Chemistry, Maths/ Biology
• Alongside, candidates should obtained a minimum of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Maths/ Biology separately.

VIT Admission Eligibility 2019

Only qualified candidates will be called for VITEEE 2019 counselling and admission processes. Candidates will be called on the basis of the marks and rank secured by the candidates. The schedule of the counselling will be updated online after the declaration of result. Candidates should attend the counselling according to their rank and bring the required documents such as date of birth certificate, marksheet of class 10^th & 12^th, VITEEE admit card and rank card to claim their seat.

VITEEE 2019 Application Form

VIT will release the online and offline application forms for the aspirants. Aspirants who satisfy the mentioned eligibility of VITEEE 2019 can apply for the test within the specified time. The application forms will be made available in the month of November 2019 on the official website of the Institute, vit.ac.in and eligible candidates can apply till the last week of March 2019. Along with the application form, candidates have to pay the application fee and upload the necessary document in the right format and size in order to complete the application procedure.

To get the hard copy of the VITEEE forms, aspirants have to visit any of the VIT campuses at Vellore, Chennai, Bhopal or Amaravati. Candidates can purchase the forms through a demand draft of Rs 1200 (inclusive of GST) drawn in favor of “VIT University” payable at Vellore. The application forms will also be available at various post offices, a list of which will be released in the month of November 2018.
