VIT University takes admission in UG four-year B. Tech Programme through VIT Engineering Entrance Exam, commonly referred to as VITEEE. Every year, the entrance test is conducted in the online mode in the month of April. VIT conducts the entrance test for offering admission to its four campuses that are Vellore Campus, Bhopal Campus (Madhya Pradesh), Chennai Campus, and Amaravati Campus (Andhra Pradesh). In 2018, approximately 2.33 lakh candidates appeared in the VITEEE Examination.
VITEEE 2019 is a University level entrance exam, to be conducted in April 2019. The online registration for VIT Entrance test is likely to be commenced in the first week of November 2018. Only eligible candidates will be able to send their VITEEE application form till the last week of March 2019. This 03-hour duration Computer Based Test (CBT) will be conducted for those candidates who have completed their Intermediate examination with at least 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology and will complete the age of 17 years till 01 July 2019. Candidates who are appearing in the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply for VITEEE 2019.

VITEEE 2019 Application Form
After checking the complete details of eligibility, the next step is to read all the instruction of the application process. The VITEEE 2019 application form will be released online on the official website of VIT University, vit.ac.in, in the first week of November 2018. Candidates can submit the forms with necessary documents and application fee till last week of March 2019. The process to fill the application form and other required information is mentioned here for the convenience of the candidates.
How to fill Application form?
The exam conducting authority will release the application form in two modes online and offline mode. The offline forms can be purchased from the campuses while the online application form can be filled on the official website. The online application form will be concluded in four steps-
Step 1- Online Registration- To register online, candidates need to enter their name, date of birth, nationality, gender, mobile number and email ID in the specified blanks.
Step 2- Filling Form online- Login to your account with computer generated application number and password to access the complete application form. Candidates have to enter the valid and correct details including the contact details, educational details, and category.
Step 3- Fee Payment- To complete the application form, candidates need to pay the requested application fee through Net banking/Credit card/Debit card. NRI aspirants have to pay the application fee of USD 50 via Demand Draft drawn in favor of ‘VIT University’ payable at Vellore.

VITEEE 2019 Offline Forms
The hard copy of the application forms can be purchased from the various campuses of VIT that are Vellore, Chennai, Bhopal or Amaravati campus through a demand draft of Rs 1200 (inclusive of GST) drawn in favor of “VIT University” payable at Vellore. The application forms will also be available at various post offices, a list of which will be released in the month of November 2018.
Candidates have to fill all the mandatory field of OMR application form, affix a recent photograph, sign at the mentioned space and send it in the given envelope. Candidates can opt for registered post or speed post to send the OMR application form. Candidates will receive an SMS as acknowledgment slip stating that the application form status.

Preparing for any entrance examination requires dedication and focused approach. Qualifying an examination with good marks will depend on how focused and dedicated you are. Here are some preparation tips for aspirants who want to qualify the exam-

VITEEE 2019 Slot Booking
In order to download the hall ticket, candidates first need to book a test slot. In slot booking, candidates have to select the exam centre and time according to their preferences. The slot booking will be made on ‘first-come-first served basis’. The slot booking process is likely to be commenced in the first week of April 2019. Candidates will need their application/ registration number and password/ date of birth details to book the slot. If any candidate fails to book the slot then the exam officials will allot the test centre on the basis of availability.

VITEEE 2019 Result
The result of VITEEE 2019 will be announced in online mode on the official website of the VIT University. It is expected that the result will be declared in the last week of April 2019. In the result, candidates will be able to check their subject-wise scores and rank obtained. Candidates will not receive any hard copy of the rank card on their postal address. VITEEE 2019 Cut Off
VITEEE cut-off is the minimum qualifying marks that candidates need to attain in order to get qualified for the counselling process. The cut-off marks will be available after the declaration of VITEEE 2019 result. The branch and campus wise cut off list will be released by the exam conducting authority. VITEEE 2019 Counselling
After the declaration of result, VIT will release the merit list and candidates will be called according to their rank for attending the counselling process. The process will be conducted to offer seats in desired campus and course. The seats will be allotted according to the rank attained and the preference of the candidates. After the seat allotment, candidates have to submit Rs. 50,000 through DD in favour of ‘VIT University’, payable at Vellore in order to confirm their seat.
