WBJEE Eligibility Criteria 2019- West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) has released the eligibility criteria of WBJEE 2019 on its official web portal, wbjeeb.nic.in. Candidates who meet the WBJEE 2019 eligibility conditions will be able to submit their online application forms. The eligibility criteria consist of the important terms and conditions related to age limit, nationality, minimum educational qualification and more. WBJEE 2019 is scheduled to be held on 26 May 2019 (Sunday) for admission to UG Engineering, Pharmacy and Architecture programmes in Govt. and private colleges of West Bengal state. WBJEE Eligibility Criteria 2019

 

Only Indian Nationals are eligible for WBJEE 2019

 

Age Limit

  • The minimum age limit is 17 years as on 31 December 2019 whereas there is no maximum age limit to apply for WBJEE 2019.  However the upper age limit for the candidates who want to apply for Marine Engineering is 25 years.
  • Candidate’s date of birth must fall on and before 31 December 2002.

 

Minimum Educational Qualification

 

For Engineering & Technology Courses

  • Candidates must have passed the 12th standard with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with any one of Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Computer Application/ Computer science/ Technical Vocational subject.
  • The minimum aggregate marks in the above three subjects should be 45% (40% for SC/ST/OBC/ Pwd).
  • Candidates must have passed the English with minimum 30% marks.

 

For Pharmacy Courses

  • Candidates must have passed the 12th standard with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics/ Biology as compulsory subjects.
  • The minimum aggregate marks in the above three subjects should be 45% (40% for SC/ST/OBC/ Pwd).
  • Candidates must have passed the English with minimum 30% marks.

 

For Architecture Courses

  • Candidates must have passed 10+2 class with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
  • Also, the minimum aggregate marks in Class 12th should also be 50%.
  • Candidates must have also qualified the NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture), conducted by the Council of Architecture, New Delhi or Paper 2 of JEE Main.

All Courses including Pharmacy & Architecture- Passed 10+2 class with a minimum of 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects (45% for SC/ ST/ OBC) and English with minimum 30% marks. For admission in Architecture courses, NATA scores or JEE Main Paper 2 Scores are mandatory.

West Bengal University of Animal and Fishery Sciences

B.Tech in Dairy Technology- Passed 10+2 class with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (40% for SC/ ST/ OBC) and English with minimum 30% marks.

B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering and Robotics Engineering- Passed 10+2 class with a minimum of 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry/ Computer Science and.

 

B.Tech in Other Courses- Passed 10+2 class with a minimum of 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

 

B.Tech in Marine Engineering- Passed 10+2 class with a minimum of 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and English with minimum 50% marks.
