Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology (IIEST), Shibpur formerly known as Bengal Engineering and Science University was established in the year 1856. Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology is known as a homely quality of Education in entire West Bengal region. IIEST is one the eminent college known for its high standard of teaching in India as well as in abroad. The college has completed its 160 years and still it is the most celestial place for academics.
