Institute of Foreign Trade and Management (IFTM), Moradabad was established in 1998 under the aegis of the Hindu Educational Society, Moradabad (registered under the Societies Registration Act 1860). The activities of IFTM were promoted by a group of public spirited entrepreneurs guided by the great visionary and educationist Late Shri Onkar Saran Kothiwal, the past Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Institute, who dedicated his life for the cause of the basic education amongst the poor and women as well as for the promotion of professional education and research, in the region. The Institute, under the able stewardship of the great creative thinker and untiring activist Dr. R. M. Dubey, the Managing Director of the Institute, and with the administrative support and patronage from Mr. Rajiv Kothiwal, the Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Institute, has now grown into one of the most sought after institutions in the country that has resulted from the unwavering commitments of the Society and the mandate it has given itself in terms of those commitments.
