Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology, Gorakhpur

Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology, Gorakhpur is a non-affiliating, teaching and research University established by U.P. Government after reconstituting the erstwhile Madan Mohan Malaviya Engineering College, Gorakhpur which was established in 1962.  Since its’ inception on December 1, 2013. The University aims for facilitating and promoting studies, research, technology incubation, innovation and extension work in the field of science, technology and management education to achieve excellence in higher technical education while continuing with strong legacy of erstwhile M.M.M. Engineering College.

University is presently offering six B.Tech. programmes in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering and Chemical Engineering (with specialization in  Sugar and Alcohol Technology) with total intake of 660 along with post graduate courses of M.B.A. 60 seats, M.C.A. 60 seats, M.Tech. in 12 disciplines with 216 seats and full time Ph.D. programme in all disciplines under Quality Improvement Programme of MHRD and University’s research cum teacher fellowship scheme.

University offers a congenial environment for the holistic growth and all round development of the students through suitably designed teaching learning processes embedded with innovation in its sprawling lush green serene residential campus. Students are extensively trained for being professionally equipped to be a globally acceptable personality with strong professional & technical skills, problem solving capabilities, communication skills, proper aptitude, and the team spirit. Activities in an academic session are designed so as to not only imbibe students with technical skills but also with the other extracurricular skills, moral & ethical values and sensitivity towards society as integral part of their  mindset and to make them complete human being.  Choice based credit system of the University offers significant flexibility for the advantage of students with differing learning capabilities. It has good academic and residential infrastructure, well equipped laboratories, strong campus wide network for internet connectivity, Wi-Fi facilities and necessary collateral support to ensure that all academic and other required activities are carried out in the efficient manner.
