The National Institute of Technology Goa (NIT Goa) is one of the NITs. The NIT Goa was established in the year of 2010 by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (HRD) . Initially it was mentored by the National Institute of Technology Karnataka .The Institute is an autonomous institution and declared as ' Institute of National Importance' . Presently , the institution is located at Farmagudi ,Ponda Southeast of Panaji , Goa.
