AIIMS 2019 is a national level MBBS Entrance Exam conducted by All India Institute of Medical Sciences for admission to MBBS courses. All-India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi conducts the exam to help deserving candidates get admission in MBBS program offered by AIIMS New Delhi, Bhopal, Jodhpur, Bhubaneswar, Patna, Rishikesh and Raipur. AIIMS 2019 exam will be held to fill 700 MBBS seats in different AIIMS institutions in various cities. AIIMS 2019 will be a computer-based test (CBT) for which candidates need to fill the online application form in February.
AIIMS was established as an institution of national importance by an Act of Parliament. As provided in the Act, AIIMS conducts teaching programs in medical and para-medical courses both at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and awards its own degrees. It conducts various entrance examinations to help candidates get admission in its 7 institutions offering Medical ((MBBS /MD /MS /Nursing /Paramedical /Health Science) education.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who successfully fulfill the eligibility criteria can only apply for AIIMS 2019 exam. So make sure you first check AIIMS 2019 eligibility criteria and then proceed with the application process.
Applicant should be a citizen of India.
Candidates should have completed 10+2 with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as main subjects from a recognized board.
Students appearing in class 12th with PCBE are also eligible for the Competitive Entrance Examination.
Aspirants must have secured a minimum aggregate percentage of 60% (for General and OBC candidates) or 50% (for SC/ST/OPH Candidates) in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects.
Applicants should have attained the age of 17 years as on 31st December of the year of admission. (Candidates born on or after 2nd January, 2001 are not eligible for the entrance exam)
Application Details
Candidates applying for AIIMS entrance exam are required to fill up online registration form available on the official website of AIIMS MBBS along with the prospectus. There is no option of offline application form filling. However, candidates can pay application fees both in online as well as offline mode.
Though candidates get correction period to make changes or corrections in their applications, it is better to fill AIIMS 2019 application form carefully in the first place. Candidates are advised to read the form filling guidelines carefully and keep ready all the essential documents including scanned images of photograph, thumb impression, and signature. Once you submit the final application form, take a printout of the same for future references.
Candidates interested in applying for the exam need to have a valid email id for further communications like admit card, results, counselling etc.
AIIMS 2019 Seat Reservation
AIIMS 2019 exam will be conducted to fill 672 vacant seats in 7 participating AIIMS colleges across India. AIIMS Delhi will be only 72 seats from a total of 672 seats while remaining seats will be allocated to other AIIMS institutes. Distribution of seats for reservation will be followed by 7.5% ST, 15% SC and 27% OBC. Orthopedic Physically Handicapped will be given a 3% reservation on horizontal basis.

Tips to Prepare
Refer NCERT Books to cover the syllabus.
Solve previous year's question papers to know the important chapters.
Make short notes while preparing a topic and revise the syllabus on a regular interval to keep a hold on important topics.
Read daily newspaper to stay updated with latest happenings this will help in solving the General Knowledge.
Give importance to each section as only those candidates will be selected who will qualify each section.

Exam Syllabus
AIIMS 2019 syllabus will be based on Class 12 syllabus under the 10+2 scheme/intermediate science. AIIMS 2019 syllabus will cover topics for subjects like Chemistry, Physics, General Knowledge, Aptitude, and Biology. To score good marks in the exam, the candidates should focus on the topics from the syllabus given on AIIMS website. Candidates should also keep an eye on the current affairs to attempt questions from general knowledge section.
