Consider what are the circumstances of the testing. Were you sick? Did you not get good sleep the night before? Anxious and nervous during the test?

If you were not 100% on the day of the test, then you should consider. When you did practice tests, was the actual score in the middle to high part of the range? If it was, then you many not improve significantly. If the score was lower than your range or in the low end of your range, then consider taking it again.

If you want to take it again regardless of the reason, will you prepare differently? Doing the same preparation will not change your score and you may even go down.
Do you have time to prepare again? You may not need to do the same amount but you need time from homework and activities to prepare. Are you applying for a scholarship that has minimum score and you are close? Then consider it. Remember, most colleges look at the whole application. Your test score is only one of the many things that is considered for admissions.
