If you look at the Top 100 US Colleges, the Total annual cost of Undergraduate education ranges from $30,000 to $72,000. This includes Tuition, books, fees for campus services, housing and living expenses.

Yes, absolutely. An engineering major with a finance minor is certainly doable.
In fact, at University of Pennsylvania there is UG program that combines Management and Technology (M&T) where you get a dual degree from Wharton (for Management) ...

Like most things, placement at the end of the undergraduate program is a function of what program and which college.
If you can provide more detail on the area of study and which US Colleges you are considering.
